It might be possible to fool me when it comes to a transvestite, but it is hard to hide big hands, an adams apple, and wide shoulders, among other things.
I have none of those things, never have, a large portion of transsexuals don't either.
I think you have things somewhat confused, transvestites are typically the ones with big hands, wide shoulders, adams apples etc as they don't take female hormones and typically never have surgery, they simply crossdress.
You seem more than anything just plain misinformed, like you have some exaggerated idea of what being transgender actually means. Put simply you only notice the transgender people you notice, so to your eye you may casually cast us all as obvious. I used to think similarly myself, it came as a great surprise to me that transgender people for the most part live fairly normal mundane lives.

I thought I did everything right but... I did find that it was running another wu on 8 cores after I set it up, duh. Fixed that but it still won't pick up the bigadv so I thought maybe they are out of them? it will pick up normal wu's if it can't get bigadv one's. And maybe I need more than 6 GB of ram?
also, you need to have a passkey and completed 10 WUs with your passkey before you'll get a bigadv unit

Maybe that's the way it strikes you, but this isn't the way it strikes those of us who've been using Pages since it came out.
But all of my work is poorly-researched, so maybe that's why I like it.

So it's not like I'm the only one who thinks that Pages needs more to better compare to Word. As it stands, I'll give Pages a shot if I need to do something fancier than writing for MFA workshops.
Plus, I save a couple of bucks.
But all of my work is poorly-researched, so maybe that's why I like it.

I'm not too sure I agree with the reason you give though. My main concern is quality control. Even with the paltry share increase Apple has seen during the past year, quality control has become an issue. Would not like to see how much poorer with a 10% share thats all :rolleyes:

Doesn't look terrible, but similar to the ipod (if that pic is legit). Competition is good though, because it'll stimulate new ideas and better products (hopefully). We'll see what happens, but I love my video ipod (as long as apple doesn't release a better one).

If MobileMe is any indication, Apple just doesn't get cloud - if they plan on charging for it, Amazon is happy to take their business - they'll sell you plain mp3s for the boot!

So, is this like the "Normal" view in Word? I was just mentioning to a MS fan last week that I don't understand why they call it "normal" when it hasn't been "normal" in 20 years.
Books come in pages. Notes come in pages. When I print what I type, it prints on pages. Why would I not want to type in a page layout mode? It seems much more natural to me. The other mode just make me think of the old monochrome screened computers. Not very natural.
I greatly agree on wanting to see the return of the WYSIWYG Font Menu. I'd also like to see a side bar as well laid out as ClarisWorks' was. Speaking of which, can we have arcs back? And those other great gradient options we had in CW?

I'm not a fan of this "literal graphics" fad at Apple... It's not a real calendar, it's not a real address book, and virtual ones can be better, have more functions and uses, be a completely different tool from the real ones... So why should they look the same?? Specially when people are already educated to use the software as it was...
