Sad thing is the developer is now going to be charged $300 (Apple requires the developer to reimburse the user Apple's commission).
That is not true at all. When an app is refunded basically all parties are nullified, so developer loses the sale and apple lose the commission. The developer does not lose out 'further'. This was discussed in length on quite a few occasions here.

I doubt MS can afford to pull another XBox on the Argo. At least in the game console business you can hope to make back your losses on game sales and accessories. In the digital music business you know you are going to make squat on music sales. The best I see them doing is selling their player at cost. As for them trading users iTunes collections for their .wma collections... I wouldn't even want to go through the trouble of downloading all my songs over.
Also... if you had pirated music, would you trust microsoft scanning your library? I doubt many would :)

Seriously: M$oft has to think about changing their Ad agency... Zune... what did they offer for breakfast to the consumer panel they tested with this name....????
Anyways: remember guys that Apple has all the background when it comes to Itunes+Ipod... They have the knowledge, the technology , the experience and more importantly the tools are way cool... Apple comes with a new Ipod model every 6 months and they know how to create the event...
My only fear: M$oft and the music companies are going to sign deals and this is what could hit Apple very bad... Major labels do not care where the music is bought... Apple... M$oft... the money goes into their pocket... So Apple need to have an idea to keep the Ipod owners their side.... The fact that Apple is proprietary is not a factor...

Can someone confirm there isn't going to be a to-do list in Lion? This is ridiculous!
Before I scare everyone, maybe I need to get my facts straight... is there one? I certainly couldn't find any on the iOS version, which is why I bought a program called Todo (by Appigo) to handle that functionality on my iPad. Since I'm on the go far more often than I'm at my desk, this is where I've been keeping my to-do items. That and Google Calendar.
So I guess what I'm really asking for is integrated to-do list support on the iOS calendar.

Guys, which one should I get?
I've been trying to score an iPad2 and now here comes the new ix.Mac.MarketingName, which sounds awesome! So between this and iPad2, ATV2, Air, MBP, iPhone, Mac Pro, Nano and iMac, what should I get?
Mostly I would use this for web surfing and light photo editing, but it also needs to dry laundry and serve as daily transportation for my 8 mile commute. But, I'm worried the new ix.Mac.MarketingName requires Z-rated tires, which are quite expensive. I'm also curious whether, with the right apps, the ix.Mac.MarketingName can serve as a prophylactic or if it's better to have a dedicated device for that.

At last, I've been waiting for this since the Mighty Mouse was announced. I still don't understand why Apple didn't release a BT version in the first place. Maybe a WWDC announcement??

The dropped calls are the dealbreaker. I love my iPhone but it just doesn't perform at anything approaching an acceptable level.
Missed calls. Dropped calls. Missing voicemails. 3 day late voicemails. There are consequences these days of having a communication device that behaves randomly. You trust it when you shouldn't and it costs you business and makes you look unreliable.
Most of this is ATT's fault, but frankly the phone has attributes that are Apple's fault, like the volume level. In any case it has to be a good phone first and it is not. The network is the phone, and the network sucks.
Hope I get enough on Ebay to buy an iPod touch.

Perhaps. But it should be noted that at one time Apple didn't have any interest in making different sizes/models of iPods either. Or CDMA phones. Point being, things change.
Those models have very distinct differences. A nano is very different from a touch, which are both different from a shuffle, etc. For each iDevice paradigm, it has clear differences between the other products and market segments.
CDMA is a poor example because it's transparent to the user. It has almost 0 effect on user experience and does not even begin to identify a product category.

I guess I have the opposite view of this since I will buy from iTunes as long as they continue to provide a lossless format--and Amazon provides only a lossy format. That is more important to me than a slight price difference. AAC plays on anything I need to play it on--and it could be converted to another lossless format such as FLAC if you really wanted to get out from under Apple's proprietary format. I am also a huge Amazon fan and a Prime member and buy a lot of stuff from them--but not MP3s.
I don't want to burst your bubble but Apple sell their tracks in a lossy format. Apple's format for iTunes purcases is a different beast to Flac.

I've seen the blue screen on XP. It's funny because I've been told by Windows users that it doesn't exist in XP, yet I witnessed it two weeks ago when a colleague of mine was trying to do something with Adobe Acrobat. The program just spazzed and the blue screen came up.

On May 3rd, there are a lot of performances in the Apple stores, one performance is a singer called Breanne Duran, who is some what popular so maybe there trying to draw a crowd in to check out the new iMacs p:
