That low price sells?
According to your past posts, selling phones at a low price ($49 in this case) is a sign of desperation, of an attempt to flood the market.
Heck, that's far cheaper than BOGO sales for other handsets where two people have sign long contracts.
Or, could it just possibly be that people aren't always swayed just by price? That the device itself could be a major factor?
Are there any carriers not giving away at least one free Android phone...

I can see them licensing AirPlay to third party, but Apple would do best to stick with upgrading and expanding the functionality of the cute hockey puck sized ATV.
$99 is an amazing price point for the ATV and pretty much everyone has HDTVs. I would love to see a native screen mirroring function for iOS and Macs, but we are more likely to see an Apple branded subscription and iAd supplemented media streaming service to compete with Pandora and Netflix.

They charge a collective shipping total. I think that for 20 shirts, it was like $15USD. For orders of just a few shirts, they send it in a nice bubble mailer with the Threadless logo slapped all over it, but since I ordered so many, it just came in a plain brown box.

I've been an AAPL shareholder on and off since 1982. The company has NEVER been healthier or hotter than it is now. We all know about the record sales of Macs, iPods, iPhones, etc. I was at a major shopping center on weekday afternoon a few days ago, and the Apple Store was literally the only store in the mall that could have been classified as "busy" (and not just with lookers but with buyers).
But you have to distinguish AAPL the stock from Apple the company. In the long term, the two are essentially the same thing, but in the short term the two are merely related. The short-term performance of AAPL the stock is affected by turmoil in the stock market, as well as by speculators hoping to make fast money by buying or selling AAPL for near-term gains. These factors can temporarily drive the stock down (or up) for reasons that have little to do with the company's actual performance.
In the long term, though, if Apple the company does well, AAPL the stock will do well, too.
So, where is AAPL going from here? Hard to say... I'm currently "long" on AAPL, so obviously I'd like to see it go up. However, it's quite possible that it could go lower from here -- perhaps much lower (below $100 even). One of the most common valuation statistic for stocks is the price/earnings (P/E) ratio. Right now, AAPL's P/E is around 30. Compared to competitors like Hewlett-Packard (HPQ; p/e: 16) and Microsoft (MSFT; p/e: 21), AAPL's multiple is high. Called Brea this morning (around 8 AM). They don't know if they are getting any today (I swear, retail employees don't know anything about anything), but there's already a line about 100 people deep. Yeesh.
Hahaha so true. Though the Brea employees are all pretty cool, and helpful! At least that's been my experience. Much more so than the Boston store.
Has anyone reserved with BestBuy and got any notification. Also, excuse my laziness, but does anyone know if the BestBuy reservation system is transferable between stores? (I.e. I'm leaving back to Boston on Sunday and don't want to get screwed if I reserve out here. Again lazy I know :p)

A TV which is 3D capable, LED backlighted, full HD, 47 inch to 55 inch and a HDMI port, which is pretty much a standard, for my PS3; that acts as a 3D blu ray player and a great, better than the xbox, games console. I haven't decided which one, yet.

One of my mates has a wired MM, not a real fan of the ergonomics of the Apple mice (mouses? Please deities, let's not start that debate again :p). Start to cramp my hand a fair bit after 5 minutes, very fingertip stuff compared to my Logitech Cordless Optical (no numbers, just called that). It also takes a bit of practice remembering to lift your left finger when right clicking and stuff like that, and the marble annoys me a fair bit, especially scrolling long lists in iTunes etc. Don't practice it a lot though, it may get better with time.
